About DC National Rowing Club

---

DC National Rowing Club is a nonprofit, coeducational youth rowing organization based in Montgomery County, Maryland, serving middle school and high school athletes throughout the Washington, DC region.

Our mission is to develop disciplined, driven athletes through hard work, shared commitment, and a love of rowing.

Rowing challenges athletes physically and mentally, but its lessons extend well beyond competition.

Our athletes learn to work together, take responsibility, overcome setbacks, and contribute to something larger than themselves.

We believe strong fundamentals, consistent training, and effective coaching create opportunities for athletes at every level.

From first-time middle school rowers to nationally competitive high school crews, our programs emphasize personal development, technical improvement, and teamwork.

DC National trains on the upper Potomac River near Riley's Lock in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Our location provides a setting for athletes to experience rowing, develop their skills, and build connections through shared experiences on the water.

DC National Rowing Club operates through the commitment of its coaches, athletes, families, and volunteer leadership.

Together, we work to provide a safe, supportive, and competitive rowing environment.
